Word Feud Again!
Since I blogged about the wonderful app that came into my life, I've been busy! About 40 people have requested games with me. As I said, I've won about 50% of them. I'd like to say that the games I've lost were close, but not always. I'll just leave it at that.
I went to statcounter.com to see how people are finding me. Here are the hilarious results.
*Word feud Stefunk
*Word feud chat not working
*Word Fued (I like this one. I'm not the only one who spells it wrong from time to time.)
*Stefunk Word Feud
*How to play word feud
*Word feud addiction (I don't know anyone who has one)
*People resign word feud immediately
*How much chat goes on in word feud
*Word feud chat
*How does word feud find opponent
*How do you finish a game of word feud
*Is it rude to resign in words with friends if you're loosing (misspelling was them, not me)
*WORD FEUD
*Husband chats online with other women in word feud
*Resign from word feud
*Word feud chatting
*What does resign on word feud do
Wow. And wow. I love it!
Something happened on the night that I went out to celebrate 16 years with this hot guy I know....he got an android phone. It was time. He's been living in a house for over a year with three women who have phones and cool apps. All the app talk was starting to get to him.
Because of that we always have two games against each other going on. He requests a game with me, and I request one with him. I've won all but one game. I didn't need to tell you that, but I felt like I should:D
On Christmas Eve I played both games back to back.
Here's what happened.
The same word in two different games for the exact same points. I impressive myself!
And then yesterday this happened.
I'm still apologizing for it.
Sorry honey!
But..come closer...I need to whisper something...IT ROCKED!!!!!
Again, sorry honey.

Air Soft
When McKinley and her friend and I got back from a day wearing me out at the mall, we found this in the living room and dining room.
Remember the air soft guns and target? Well, here they are. In my living room and dining room. Not exactly what I had envisioned. Especially since it was over 70 degrees outside.
In December.
And that light next to the target? That was the light on the piano. It used to have a shade on it. But as we were driving down our street McKinley and Paige saw a boy selling the paper that they recognized as the new creepy guy from school. They rushed into the house, through the shooting area, and stared at him through the front door. When we were finally able to remove them from the entry way, Paige's jeans caught on the glass shade. Bye bye shade.
Shawn of course challenged me, and soon it was my turn. I can hardly beat him at anything. Any-thing. He is quite competitive, in a nice way though. The bowling victory of mine a few days ago was rare. Rare I tell you.
I tried my best, but I came no where near beating him.
And how, you might ask, do you know where a tiny little plastic pellet lands when you're pretty far away?
The videographer of course.
Actually she wasn't video taping, she was just looking at the zoomed in image of the target and keeping track of the points on her Daddy's cell phone. The piano light was making it easier to see.
My man thinks of everything I tell you.
Everything.

Christmas Break
Usually during Christmas break we eat, stay home, and eat. But this year I vowed to do more. I set some money aside and started planning. It had to be close to the hospital since Shawn was on call. Or close to home so we could race home if we weren't in two cars. With everything we did, we lucked out. Love when that happens:D
The first outing was to Bricktown to see a movie, do some shopping, and eat dinner. Oh, and dessert of course.
I love downtown at Christmas. Since Bricktown was revamped and the canal was added it's so beautiful. And the crosses that have been displayed on the buildings since I was a little girl are still there. Every year I think some radical organization of some kind is going to find a way to make that wrong. When I was young I dreamed of someday working in one of those buildings and getting to be one of the offices to leave my light on.
Oh the dreams.
We met Shawn at Bass Pro Shops so he could spend a $50 gift card first. I hate that place. I'm sure there's something in there I would like...but it's surrounded by about a billion things that bore me to death. Air Soft guns and a target were purchased, and I made it out alive.
After a quick dinner at Sonic we went to see Tangled. Loved it. All of us did. Sadly I was too full from Sonic to get popcorn. That depressed me on so many levels. I need another movie date in my very near future. Of course following the movie we went to Cold Stone Creamery so it was okay. Almost okay.
A few days later we decided to go bowling. I honestly think the last time I went was when we were still in the military. So it had been about 13 years. When you're not very good, 13 years is a really long time. We got set up (with three shoe changes for the growing Reagan) and got started. After Reagan had four gutter balls, she was done and hated it. I sent Shawn to the front desk to ask about bumpers. I'd had two gutter balls myself and it certainly couldn't hurt. The bumpers made all of us a lot happier. I'm ashamed to say they helped my game immensely. I even beat Shawn one out of the three games. That my friends, is a miracle. A Christmas Break miracle. Those don't happen often.
See, he has some serious skills.
I love this. Who hasn't leaned to one side hoping the ball would go that way.
This girl tried to make it look cool, but found it was just easier to bowl normally. She beat me two out of three games. I am still trying to come to terms with this.
And my growing baby. This was before the bumpers. Her face was not happy.
We were two games in when I noticed this.
McKinley, our score board setter upper, spelled her own name wrong. Ha!
And here is proof that I beat Shawn. I'm the first S. And yes, I know it's blurry. The board reset itself so I was in a hurry to snap. But trust me, I won.
And just for fun.
With friends spending the night, more evenings driving through Christmas lights, and lots of leftovers, we had a wonderful break.
How were yours?

Merry Christmas!
Since it's New Years Day it only seems fitting that I'm blogging about Christmas Day. Maybe a New Years resolution should be to blog a little faster.
Doubt that will happen.
Santa was good to the girls this year. One Santa took the other one shopping for a simple guitar and the other Santa insisted we leave with a keyboard and stand. It's a good thing one Santa had a new job this year and saved her money. The thinking of Santa #2 was that with three girls playing piano and the piano being up against our bedroom wall, it would be nice to have another piano that came with head phones somewhere else in the house.
Genius I tell you.
The guitar was a hit and a teacher is soon being contacted.
But the hit of the Santa gifts?A rubber chicken key chain.
Of course, to her, the laptop Santa #2 felt was necessary was a hit. Santa #1 has to make sure computer time and website regulations are being followed so she wasn't as excited.
You know it's a good sign when the keyboard has your name on it!
After our traditional Christmas breakfast it was time for gifts.
After dining at my fabulous bosses house Shawn couldn't stop talking about their salt and pepper pump grinders. I asked some questions, did some internet searching, and finally found them. Sorry I didn't get a picture of them opened. The funniest part of this gift was him demonstrating to everyone how they worked and hearing a funny sound. He'd peppered the wrapping paper on the floor in front of him.
Every year there's one gift I'm so excited to see opened. When it's for my aunt Janis, it's even better. She is impossible to buy for because what she wants or needs, she gets for herself. But this year I knocked her socks off. There is a tree by her house that she mentioned to me once she just loved. She asked me to take a picture of it for her. After I did I put it in a folder on my hard drive and promptly forgot about it. She never asked for it either. But after driving by it a few months later, I got an idea. So I started taking a picture of it in every season. Yep, I'm cool:D
She was very surprised and I couldn't be happier.
And now, just a few fun Christmas faces.

And my gift?? It wasn't a surprise but I was thrilled to get it.
Especially with a tag like this.
At our wedding rehearsal my wonderful former Senior High pastor was our officiant. When he got to the 'Do you Stephanie take Shawn part' he said he couldn't say that. If he did, we'd be married. So he said, "Do you Milk, take Cornflakes to be your lawfully wedded husband?" Since then we've called each other those names. We always put it on our Christmas gifts to each other.
A Keurig! I'm so deeply in love with it.
And since no one thought to get a trash bag at the beginning of gift opening...and no one was willing to leave during it to get one...we had a big pile of trash.
That became a lot of fun before Mommy made them get out so I could find the carpet.
I need to see carpet.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas surrounded by your family.
What was your favorite gift?
