Ah, lazy summer days

I love summer. Only because I have a pool. Otherwise winter is my favorite season.

Our pool is 54 years old and has an amazing history of hundreds and hundreds of people swimming in it. (Not all at once! The most we've had at once is 45.) We have continued the tradition of opening it to our friends. Here's a sampling of how we've spent the last week.

I don't always get the full shot. Check out the window though!

It's a Josie sandwich!

She'll be thrilled when she sees these!

She jumps higher then anyone! Look at the amazed faces of the onlookers.

Cooper turned 6 yesterday. He wanted to spend the day at our pool. He brought cupcakes so I said yes!

There's always a snack time.

There's one in every bunch.
Notice how most of the pictures are focused on the same area of the pool? That's because that's where my lawn chair is located!!

Things that make you go hmmmm....

Well, I had grand plans of a lazy Saturday morning spent blessing you with a well written blog. But my camera has been savagely stolen and I can't upload pictures right now. When Shawn gets home with it I'll post as soon as he has had a thorough talking to.

So until then...something for you to think about.

Since my spray painting festival on Sunday I have had no feeling in the tip of my right index finger.

Wonder when that will come back.

It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year! Part 2

Memorial Day in pictures. And a few words. It's not like me to keep my mouth shut!

Waiting for the party to start.

Now that's a party!

The guest of honor and the slightly red host. That's from staining and painting for two days!

But don't the chairs and table look nice?

This cute boy was there!

And these cute girls.

There were surprises throughout the day.

And some unhappy kiddos. Could he be upset because his cousin kept shooting him in the face with water?

There was some determination.

Some relaxation.

And some neat tricks.

Some people made new friends.

And some old friends stopped by.

Some ear water had to be shaken out.

There was a smallest splash contest.

She didn't win!

And lots of my favorite summer dessert was consumed!

Hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day!

It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year!

Pssst! Hey little boy, come here!

What do you think is under this circular lid?

Let Reagan help you.

Roooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

*****Disclaimer*****

No little boys were actually scared in the making of this photo montage.

Trampoline shots!

The pool might not be ready but we've been having a lot of fun on the trampoline!

What are they doing you might ask? Sprinkler trampoline jumping!

Even without the sprinkler it's still entertaining.

And just to keep it real!
