Spring Break

I have been blessed with great family.

On both sides.

Well, there are a few I'd give away if I found a high bidder...but I digress.

Two of them that I especially like came to visit during Spring Break; Tyler and Amelia. The main reason of the trip was for Tyler to visit Oklahoma State University to see if it's somewhere he would like to attend. His parents met there over 20 years ago so it's a special place!

We of course spent hour upon hour on the trampoline but we did a few touristy things-a trip to Pops and Bricktown.
And apparently no matter what your age, playgrounds are always fun. After a quick drive north we were at OSU. I let Shawn take the actual walking tour of the campus with Tyler and the girls and I did Glamour Shots on the mall and at the Student Union. What must everyone do when you visit Stillwater? Eat at Joe's!I highly recommend the Chocolate Shake.

Although I will go to my grave being a die-hard Sooner fan...I was pleasantly surprised that OSU was such a nice place. And if it means Tyler would be an hour away from us instead of six, go Pokes!

It's beginning to THUNDER!!

My dear, sweet, precious friend Beth (who I've recently let down, can you tell?) took me to an OKC Thunder game a few months ago. I've been to professional baseball and hockey games before but this was my favorite NBA. I loved every minute of it! And I can say that now, months later, when my hearing has returned to normal. They like it loud there.

When halftime rolled around this weird rainbow thing came out onto the floor. It had arms and legs that could reach out several feet in all directions and could make itself really tall or incredibly short. I was really fascinated and freaked out at the same time. Enough so that apparently I only took two pictures.

Up until this game the OKC Thunder had only won one or two games. This one was close the whole time and with 3.2 seconds left we were ahead and it looked like we were going to win. Sadly the Wolves made a shot in the final seconds and we lost.

Still, I had a blast and got to spend time with a good friend. What could be better??
Oh, she's also the friend that did this...during a meeting where we couldn't stop laughing and were supposed to be veeeeery quiet!

Still there?

Well who would have guessed? I didn't think there was much that could keep me from blogging. It's my therapy, my release. I need it every day to keep me sane.

Enter Spring Break, and cousins, and three road trips, and an aunt and uncle, and three playgrounds, and a birthday party, and friends, and a bad movie...and well, I got busy.

So what I'm saying is...I missed you all. I hope you missed me. And I'm back!

That one little post I made with the random pictures has gotten some questions...so later tonight I'll be posting more pictures of the rainbow thing on the basketball court.

I know, you're all on the edge of your seats:c)

Random Found Pictures

So what to do when you just can't think of something to blog???

Search through photo folders and try to get inspired.

Sadly, I still have nothing.

What I did find was some pictures that will never get to be a part of a blog because they have no reason, no purpose.

Let's all take a collective sigh for the pictures that just aren't good enough.

Why Every Home Should Have A Trampoline

Hours of enjoyment.

Fun and versatile hairstyles.

And I must say...some good exercise. Every joint in my body was stretched out after this!
