Wedding Day!

You know you're at the wedding of a special couple when you see this.Scott and Adrienne both attended the University of Arizona but never met each other. How neat that they decided to go back to Tucson to get married. Instead of a typical guest book they had this.We found Scott and his groomsmen at the bar having one more shot before the wedding started.I wandered outside to see the set up. It was beautiful! Simple, but classic. Red with turquoise. I never would have put those two colors together but it was beautiful!

Adrienne let her bridesmaids choose their dresses as long as they were red. It was fun waiting to see what the next one would look like!My mom always told me to glance at the bride as she walks down the aisle but watch the groom to see his reaction. Sadly I am vertically challenged and when we stood up I lost sight of Scott. I did succeed in getting this picture with my cell phone. I quickly uploaded it to Facebook to share with my cousins who couldn't be there.
Besides, Scott just looked deliriously happy every time I looked at him:)Uncle Tim did an amazing job with the ceremony. He had me in tears a few times. That combined with the tears in Adrienne's and Scott's eyes during one of the readings made me glad I'd invested in waterproof mascara! After the ceremony the guests went next door and had hors d'oeuvres and drinks while pictures were taken and the staff set up for dinner. When it was time to come back the garden area had been transformed. When dinner was served I of course couldn't eat it because it was Mexican. I did eat my tortillas, and a few others that were donated to the cause, and sipped my five drinks. Yes five! I love weddings. Young love and a new life. Blah blah blah. I am usually there for the cake. Imagine my surprise when I heard neither the bride nor groom liked cake! So...we had cookies. I must admit they were good. But still I am a fan of cake. However, by the third cookie I had just about forgiven them.

Besides, how can you not forgive two people this cute together? And only because I promised...here they are. The tan/burn lines.

::::Sigh::::I think I need another cookie.
