Growing up as an only child to a single parent...I was a picky eater. I wasn't catered to, but my mom usually just made stuff that she knew I'd eat. Before she died she made me promise that I would make my children eat things that I don't like. Luckily I had married a man who wanted more to eat than macaroni and cheese and rice.
I have become quite a cook since he's always hungry. Because of that my girls do in fact eat a lot of things that I still won't. I don't know who puts all the mushrooms in my food but the girls fight over who gets them after I pick them out.
In Shawn's family the fourth and final boy has always been a picky eater. I wondered how mom had raised three that would eat anything but the last one hardly ate. I luckily never said anything because when Reagan was born, it all became clear.
She does eat most things....but every once in a while she will choose to skip dessert or wait until breakfast if something on her plate offends her. But there is one thing that she will eat, without question, every single time.
Red meat.
Wish I could eat lots of red meat and have that figure!
