Now that I'm done celebrating the
4th of July I can tell you about the festivities that followed. We had
family in town the 2
nd through the 6
th and we had to show them
Bricktown. After lunch at
Braum's we headed that way.
We of course first stopped at the buffalo.

You always have to stop at the buffalo.
After we got to the end of the canal

we let the children play in the fountains for a while.

I must admit that I also took a little walk through them to cool down.
Some got more wet than others and had to be wrung out.

She was quite cool for the rest of our walk though.
After a few minutes at the playground with a game of trying to stay on the teeter totter

and a short nap,

we decided to take an extra walk

down to the Land Run statues.

I have ridden by them on a river boat tour twice but had never stopped.
They are amazing!
And huge.

And nicely scented.
And climbable.
Of course we had to.
The details are amazing.

And looky here. We found another buffalo!
You know you always have to stop at the buffalo:c)

That looks like sooooo much fun!!! One day I'll get to go do those things when I go to OKC! The last trip down was Monday for a birthday. And I sat in my Outlaws Kitchen all day. One of them does know you, I only told them we email each other.
Can I join your family?
