I had what I really really hope is my last visit with my podiatrist this morning. I am released to run. I'm released to rejoin life where I left it. I'm released to wear my orthodic inserts every day for the rest of my life.
I feel old.
Although I'm not pain free, I'm excited to run again. And scared to run again. You know?
The fact that the outside temperature is 26 and there's usually a 20 mph wind is a little worrying, but I'm still ready. To run inside at the church gym!
Although my week is insane, I'm going to try to fit it in.
And I won't miss my podiatrist, or walking boot, or intense pain...but I'm not going to lie...I'm really going to miss the People magazines in his waiting room. I really loved those People's.
To close, (that makes this random post sound better) I thought I'd leave you with some podiatrist humor. Who knew they were funny??
Cute, isn't he??
