Here I sit. I received an amazing gift from Kelli of I Thought Sew this week. I knew she was sending something but the gifts blew me away. I have worn them and gotten wonderful comments. I don't have the energy to get up and get my camera. My apologies to Kelli. Your post is coming tomorrow. And thank you for the brightest thing in my last 11 days.
I went back to my doctor Monday because the ear pain that had ended two days had come back with a vengeance on Sunday. I was in tears off and on all day. He told me the Z pack apparently didn't work. I am now on Omnicef and Predisone. Another antibiotic and now a steroid. I wish I had the strength to go work out, I might put on some muscle mass.
And here I sit, after three full days of both, still miserable. I haven't had one minute without shooting pains in my ears and dizziness. I took it pretty easy last week. I had a few things that had to be done but really laid around like a lazy bum. No laundry, no cleaning, but a lot of cooking. (I hate to eat out several days in a row.)
Now for this week, well I have to return to my regularly scheduled life. I had a meeting today that took all my strength to get ready for and attend. I have...to stop....whining! Oh, and complaining.
Wish me luck.
And now I'm off to bond with my heated pillow. It's my new best friend.
Until tomorrow.

And could you tell what they were hanging from?
Wire mesh. The idiots who lived here before us (that story doesn't even deserve to be told) removed the gutters and put mesh up. That effectively catches everything but water and makes a whole stinking lot of problems. But oddly enough, amazing icicles.
Welcome to Yoklahoma y'all. Sit back and be amazed.

Okay, so I lied. One more. How can you not love icicle lights with icicles on them?!
