Let me warn you now, this is not going to be pretty.
Here I sit. I received an amazing gift from Kelli of I Thought Sew this week. I knew she was sending something but the gifts blew me away. I have worn them and gotten wonderful comments. I don't have the energy to get up and get my camera. My apologies to Kelli. Your post is coming tomorrow. And thank you for the brightest thing in my last 11 days.
I went back to my doctor Monday because the ear pain that had ended two days had come back with a vengeance on Sunday. I was in tears off and on all day. He told me the Z pack apparently didn't work. I am now on Omnicef and Predisone. Another antibiotic and now a steroid. I wish I had the strength to go work out, I might put on some muscle mass.
And here I sit, after three full days of both, still miserable. I haven't had one minute without shooting pains in my ears and dizziness. I took it pretty easy last week. I had a few things that had to be done but really laid around like a lazy bum. No laundry, no cleaning, but a lot of cooking. (I hate to eat out several days in a row.)
Now for this week, well I have to return to my regularly scheduled life. I had a meeting today that took all my strength to get ready for and attend. I have...to stop....whining! Oh, and complaining.
Wish me luck.
And now I'm off to bond with my heated pillow. It's my new best friend.
Until tomorrow.

I'm so sorry. I hope you feel better soon.
I have been carrying around a smallish pillow a little bigger than my hand to cover my ear. It feels so good. I have had the thought that I would love for it to be heated- I hope yours helps your ears and that you recover quickly!
Ouch! I'll take snow over ear pain. That is the worst. Hope you feel better soon.
Oh, I am sooooo sorry about your earache. Have you tried warm Olive Oil? Its the only way I can stop an earache. Ask your doctor first, though. Just a thought. I hope it gets better quickly.
One way to keep warmth on your ear is to loosely fill a clean sock with rice. Tie it or sew it shut with twine or button thread. Put that sock inside another clean sock and seal it shut the same way. Now, heat the rice-filled sock in the microwave. You may wish to wrap a small towel around the rice pack before placing it on your ear, to avoid getting burned. I usually heat it for about one minute. Stinks, but it holds the heat for a long time. Contact me if you have questions.
I have one of these rice packs to warm my feet. Its wonderful.

Sorry Sweetie, wish we were closer and could help. However, you don't won't our coughs with your ears. Wouldn't be a good mix.
